Lambeth Council: sort Streatham out!

Nicole and Scott have monthly meetings with the new Chief Executive, Bayo Dosunmu. Alongside other matters, top of their list is community safety across Lambeth, and the neglect of Streatham by the council.

They are in regular contact with the Chief Executive and other local councillors to ensure the council take steps to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour around Streatham, address the neglect of Streatham High Road, and the threat of the Business Improvement District (BID) to pull out of helping to maintain Streatham Green and Babington Plaza.

Councillors continue to be contacted by extremely concerned residents over the long, on-going issues around a House of Multiple Occupancy on Lewin Road. This has been a ward priority for local police for over a year and yet there has been little progress on the matters. They have raised this issue with both the Chief Executive and Lambeth’s head of Community Policing, Steve Boswell, and will continue to hold the council and the police to account.
